Drawtex 20 x 20cm D2020 — Hydroconductive Wound Dressing (10 Pack)

The Drawtex 20 x 20cm D2020 is a sterile, hydroconductive wound dressing designed to manage moderate to heavy exudate and support moist wound healing. Supplied in a convenient 10 pack, this dressing is suitable for acute and chronic wounds where effective fluid handling, gentle adherence and reliable protection are required. Ideal for clinical and home-care settings, Drawtex helps clinicians and caregivers control wound drainage while promoting a clean wound environment.

Key Benefits

  • Hydroconductive action rapidly draws and locks away exudate to reduce maceration risk.
  • High absorbency for effective management of moderate to heavy exuding wounds.
  • Sterile, single-use dressing to help minimise contamination and infection risk.
  • Non-adherent surface supports atraumatic dressing changes and protects fragile tissue.
  • Convenient 20 x 20cm size for versatility across wound types; packaged as a 10 pack for cost-effective supply.
  • Supports moist wound healing and assists clinicians in maintaining an optimal wound environment.
Ingredients and Materials

Drawtex dressings typically combine a hydroconductive absorbent core with soft, non-woven cover layers. The dressing is made from medical-grade, biocompatible fibres engineered for rapid fluid uptake and retention. Each unit is supplied sterile and packaged for single use. For full material specifications and any allergy-related information, always refer to the manufacturer’s leaflet inside the pack.

How to Use
  1. Perform hand hygiene and prepare the wound bed according to local clinical protocols.
  2. Open sterile pack and apply the Drawtex dressing directly to the wound so it fully covers the wound bed.
  3. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing or fixation method as required.
  4. Monitor exudate levels and change the dressing when saturation approaches the dressing edge or per clinician direction.
  5. Dispose of used dressings as clinical waste. Do not re-sterilise or re-use.
Who It’s For

Suitable for patients with moderate to heavily exuding wounds, including chronic wounds (venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers), post-operative wounds, traumatic wounds and other wounds where effective exudate management is needed. Appropriate for use in hospitals, clinics and community care settings under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

Caution & Storage

Use sterile single-use dressings only. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or the sterile seal is broken. Inspect wound regularly for signs of infection; consult a healthcare professional if increased pain, redness, swelling or unusual odour occurs. Not intended for use on heavily bleeding arterial wounds. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Follow local disposal regulations for clinical waste.
