1. Prepare and cleanse the skin site and administer local anaesthetic as required.
2. Stabilise the skin and position the 6mm punch perpendicular to the surface.
3. Apply steady pressure and rotate the punch until the full thickness specimen is reached.
4. Elevate the core with forceps; if required, cut the base and place specimen in fixative for histology.
5. Achieve haemostasis and close the wound per standard clinical practice (suture or adhesive as indicated).

Only trained clinicians should perform punch biopsies. Follow local clinical protocols and device IFU.
