What is Betadine Medicate Shampoo?

Can be use it to prevent and treat conditions of the scalp associated with excessive dandruff, pruritus (itching), scaling, exudation (wet lesions), erythema (inflamed redness), as well as fungal infections and infected lesions of the scalp.

Can also be used for infectious folliculitis and impetigo (a bacterial infection that involves the superficial skin) resulting in yellowish crusts on the face, arms, or legs which is caused by various bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites.

Can be used for shaving rash.

How to use:

• Wet hair and apply a sufficient amount to massage into scalp with fingertips 
• Allow to remain on your scalp for at least 5 minutes
• After 5 minutes work up a lather and rinse thoroughly 
• Repeat steps 1 and 2 at least twice a week until improvement is noted
• Once your scalp condition starts to improve, use once a week

4% Povidone-Iodine
