Ingredients and Materials
Active ingredient: Ethyl chloride (chloroethane) — volatile topical local anaesthetic.
Inactive ingredients: Compressed propellant/s (hydrocarbon-based).
Packaging: 100ml pressurised aerosol can with actuator nozzle. Designed for topical external use only.
How to Use
For topical surface anaesthesia: Clean and dry the skin. Hold the can 15–25 cm from the treatment area. Apply in short bursts (2–10 seconds) until the skin becomes frosted or sufficiently numb. For injection sites, one short 2–3 second burst is usually sufficient. Allow the skin to re-warm before performing procedures. Do not spray continuously or over large areas. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
Who It’s For
Suitable for sports therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, paramedics, GPs and first-aid responders who require fast, local surface anaesthesia. Ideal for athletes and active individuals needing immediate relief from needle pain, superficial injuries, trigger-point pain and short medical procedures. Not recommended for infants without medical advice.
Caution & Storage
Warnings: Extremely flammable — keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. Do not smoke while using. Avoid inhalation of spray and prevent contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not apply to deep or large wounds, broken skin, or areas with poor circulation. Do not puncture or incinerate the can even when empty. If allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical help. Seek medical advice before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C and away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations for pressurised containers.
