Aerochamber Plus Flow-Vu Mouth piece Youth
AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu® Mouthpiece — Youth
The AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu® Youth mouthpiece is a valved holding chamber (VHC) designed to improve delivery of aerosolized medication from pressurised metered‑dose inhalers (pMDIs). The Flow‑Vu inspiratory indicator provides visual feedback to help younger users and caregivers coordinate inhalation and dose release for more consistent medication delivery and reduced oropharyngeal deposition.
Key Benefits
- Improves inhaler coordination and medication delivery for children and adolescents
- Flow‑Vu® indicator gives visual inhalation feedback for easier use and training
- Valved holding chamber reduces medication loss and throat deposition vs direct pMDI use
- Compact, reusable mouthpiece design fits most standard pMDIs
- Easy to clean and maintain for routine home or clinic use
Ingredients and Materials
Constructed from medical‑grade, BPA‑free plastics with a soft, flexible silicone mouthpiece and a low‑resistance Flow‑Vu® inspiratory valve. Designed for durability and repeated use. Check product packaging for specific material and regulatory information.
How to Use
- Remove caps and shake the pMDI well.
- Insert the inhaler into the back of the AeroChamber mouthpiece firmly.
- Place the mouthpiece between the user’s teeth and seal lips around it; for younger children, use with an appropriate mask (see product guidance).
- Begin a slow, deep inhalation — Flow‑Vu® indicator will move to show airflow.
- Press the inhaler once, continue to inhale slowly and deeply. If using tidal breathing, take 4–5 normal breaths after actuation to ensure delivery.
- Wait recommended interval (usually 30–60 seconds) between puffs if multiple doses are required.
Always follow your prescriber’s instructions and the inhaler manufacturer’s guidance for dosing.
Who It’s For
