What are Solal 5-HT1 30 capsules used for?

5-HT1™ supports healthy serotonin levels thereby enhancing mood and reducing anxiety.

How to use:

  • Adults: Take 1 capsule daily (with or without meals).
  • Dose can be increased to 1 capsule twice daily if needed.

Ingredients: Each caplet contains:

  • Delta-KNX™ sceletium extract 15 mg
  • Total alkaloid content: 750 µg
    Delta-7-mesembranone 188 μg
    Mesembrine

Do not exceed recommended dosages unless on the advice of a healthcare practitioner. Do not use this product if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients. If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy. This medicine has not been evaluated by the Medicines Control Council. This medicine is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Side Effects:

  • Side effects may include headache, depression or listlessness.

Interactions:

  • Antidepressant medicines: Sceletium may increase serotonin levels. Combining sceletium with antidepressants may lead to additive effects and increase the possibility of side effects.
  • CNS depressant medication: Sceletium is thought to have sedative properties. Combining sceletium with CNS depressant medication may lead to additive sedative effects.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:

  • Not safe for use during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
