1. Read the complete instructions before starting. Check the kit expiry date and integrity of the pouch.
2. Wash and dry hands. Clean the fingertip with the provided alcohol swab and allow to dry.
3. Use the sterile lancet to perform a finger-prick and gently squeeze to obtain a drop of blood.
4. Collect the required blood volume with the supplied pipette and transfer it to the sample well (S) on the test cassette.
5. Add the specified number of buffer drops to the buffer well as indicated in the instructions.
6. Start the timer. Read results at the indicated time (typically 15–20 minutes). Do not read after the maximum read time—this may cause false readings.
7. Interpretation: a visible control line (C) confirms the test is valid. A test line at the Pf (HRP2) or pan (pLDH) position indicates a positive result for corresponding malaria antigens. If in doubt, seek laboratory confirmation (microscopy or PCR).
8. Dispose of the used kit as biohazardous waste according to local regulations.
